Commyt is a Chrome extension and web dashboard that helps users organize their LinkedIn job search. It captures job postings and connection profiles from LinkedIn and stores them in a personal dashboard.

• Account information: Email address and name (provided during registration).
• LinkedIn job data: Job title, company name, location, description, and URL from LinkedIn job postings you choose to capture.
• LinkedIn connection data: Name, headline, company, and profile URL from LinkedIn profiles you visit.
• Authentication tokens: Stored locally in your browser to keep you logged in.

3. How we collect data

Data is collected only when you actively use the extension on LinkedIn pages. The extension reads and saves job details from pages you are actively viewing. No data is collected in the background or from other websites.

• Display your captured jobs and connections in your personal dashboard.
• Generate AI-powered messages to help you contact recruiters.
• Score and prioritize job postings based on your profile.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Each user can only access their own data. All communication between the extension and our servers uses HTTPS encryption.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. Your data is used exclusively to provide you with the Commyt service. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to the service.

7. Data retention

Your data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
